The Bible Speaks

Course Overview

The Bible is God’s communication to man, and in that sense we can say that the Bible “speaks” to us. The thinking person who has questions about life, the world, and the future will find answers in the Bible. In this course you will discover first why we can trust the Bible as coming from God, and then some of the main things it says about God and our relationship to Him—in short, the basic teachings of the Christian faith.

How Will We Cover The Contents?

A typical chapter may have 5 short pages to read and includes a short series of questions to answer.  Each participant is encouraged to complete the weekly chapter at home and bring their booklet on Sunday.

On Sunday we will gather and discuss the contents of the chapter (30 minutes) and review the questions and answers (10 minutes).

Assembly Testimony Publications

Introducing the Books

Assembly Testimony Publications in Northern Ireland has released a number of books, some which address many fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith.  A stated objective of the publication committee is to "put sound and Scriptural teaching into the hands of younger believers especially" (Brian Currie, N. Ireland, Feb 2006, The Glory of His Grace). 

A typical book in the "Glory of" series may have up to 13 chapters on a particular subject, each chapter handled by a different author.  The book "My Conversion and Call", details the stories of well over 100 different person's conversion to God and their subsequent Call by God to serve Him.  The stories include individuals from Canada, USA, England, N.Ireland,Scotland, Brazil, Venezuela, Russia and many more.
